This is an ongoing collaborative project.
I teamed up with my friend Fran Hales who is a photographer and has been taking photos of individuals and businesses around London throughout lockdown.
Communal Acts is a project is about gestures of kindness that businesses and individuals have shown in the face of the pandemic. By using their skillsets and turning their focus on either nurturing existing communities or creating new ones they have provided a safety net and brought a sense of togetherness in a time in which we have needed support.
The idea is to create posters (an old school way of sharing information) and a small magazine to share their stories to bring some positivity into their communities like they have.
